E!Z Work Comp Rater: July 2, 2010

Effective 7-1-2010
- Retailers Mutual Ins. Co.: new rates for selected codes.

E!Z Work Comp Rater: June 27, 2010

Effective 7-1-2010
- Manufacturing Technology Mutual filed rates for 207 additional class codes.

E!Z Work Comp Rater: June 14, 2010

- Effective 6-1-2010, the Travelers companies updated their surcharges for Terrorism and Catastrophe coverage.

E!Z Work Comp Rater: June 1, 2010

Special Note: We just learned that the Cincinnati companies filed new rates for 3 deviated codes effective May 1. Normally, the State Office of Financial and Insurance Services (OFIS) provides us with electronic copies of filings well in advance of their effective dates. Although this filing was received by OFIS on February 26 and “processed” on March 11, we never received a copy of the revised rates until we requested them this morning. These new 5-1 rates into our June 1 database so they are now available going forward from June 1.
These following codes were affected by this May 1 rate revision:
· 5645 (“Carpentry: Detached Dwellings”)
· 8742 (“Outside Sales”)
· 8810 (“Office and Clerical Personnel”)

E!Z Work Comp Rater: May 20, 2010

The Following Changes will be in effect 7-1-2010:
· ACE USA filed new rates for Pacific Employers Ins. Co., creating a new Tier 3 for ACE’s “Small Comp” Unit; and
· The Hanover Group (Citizens Ins. Co. of America et al) filed rates using slightly higher Pure Premium Rate multipliers for all five carriers.

E!Z Work Comp Rater: May 5, 2010

This Update Includes the Following Change effective 6-1-2010:
· Hastings Mutual Ins. Co.revised rates for most classes and also added Class 2157 (“Bottling Wine”) to its list of target classes.

E!Z Work Comp Rater: April 27, 2010

Effective 4-27-2010, two new carriers added to E!Z Work Comp Rater:
· Capitol Indemnity Corp.
· Amerisure Partners Insurance Co. (new Tier 2 carrier in the Amerisure Cos. group.
